The government approved today a bill on amendments to the law on civil status registration procedures. Currently the system uses paperwork and paper records, with all documents and applications being processed in writing. Government to provide affordable loans to agriculture this year PM calls for more proactive presentation of government programs Livestock diseases to be defied

The government continues with the policy of providing affordable loans to agriculture, which was launched in 2011. During 2011-2013, the Government provided a total of 54.7 billion dram-worth of loans (14 percent interest rate), of which 4 percent subsidized, with 6 percent subsidies made available to 225 most disadvantaged communities. UN-declared Family Year-dedicated events to be held in Armenia Government approved a program aimed at equality between men and women

Based on the 2014 decision of the United Nations on proclaiming 2014 Family Year, the Government decided today that the Family Year will be marked in Armenia in the period from April 7, 2014 through April 7, 2015. About AMD39million is needed for transport facilities’ overhaul and copyright control in 2014, while the State budget allocated 18 million.
