COVID-19 Open Bank Account Update
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Armenia informs that as available since March 17, 2020, the treasury account 900005001947, referred to as “Financial assistance to the state from individuals and organizations with a view to preventing the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19),” had been credited AMD 886,996,095 as of 17:00, April 10, 2020. The total number of money transfers is 3382.
Georgia has published instructions for movement of trucks
Georgia has published instruction for regulation of the movement of trucks across the territory of Georgia and it is presented below. Works are being carried out at Bagratashen Checkpoint to reduce pile-ups on the territories of both Armenia and Georgia
The SRC announces that given the weather conditions in March, the checkpoint of Upper Lars has mainly been closed. This has resulted in substantial pile-ups of vehicles transporting goods from Armenia to EAEU member states or thirtd countries. The pile-ups were caused by about 800 trucks at Bagratashen checkpoint of Armenian-Georgian border and cars that had already reached the territory of Georgia. Announcement Regarding filing to tax authority of statements by financial firms on interests paid by debtors (codebtors) in Q1 2020
Given the spread of coronavirus, SRC suggests that financial firms that are non-residents of Armenia submit to the SRC the original documents of statements on interests paid by debtor (co-debtor) (as set out by sub-clause 5 of clause 5 of the procedure established by decisions No 205-N of 19.02.2015 and No 1321-N of 05.10.2017) via mail service .
