Monthly benefit of honor to double in amount for Great Patriotic War II Veterans
The government decided to increase the amount of monthly honorary benefit for Great Patriotic War veterans: starting this May 1, they will be receiving AMD50 thousand instead of 25 thousand drams. Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan told the Government Press Center-hosted news conference that there are currently 1,100 war veterans entitled to honorary benefits. Government Approves Drugs Bill
The Government approved today a set of amendments to the laws on drugs, licensing and five other legal acts to be submitted to the National Assembly in the prescribed manner. During the news conference held at the Government Press Center, Healthcare Minister Armen Mouradyan said the amendments are meant to regulate the circulation, registration, parallel importing, advertising and other problems related to prescribed drugs.
