Monthly benefit of honor to double in amount for Great Patriotic War II Veterans
The government decided to increase the amount of monthly honorary benefit for Great Patriotic War veterans: starting this May 1, they will be receiving AMD50 thousand instead of 25 thousand drams.
Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan told the Government Press Center-hosted news conference that there are currently 1,100 war veterans entitled to honorary benefits. The Minister took the opportunity to touch on the Government’s ongoing employment programs.
