The organizing committee for Euro Youth Judo Championship – 2009, due to be held in Yerevan on September 11-13 met at the office of Government, presided at by committee chairman, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. Organizational issues were discussed resulting in a number of assignments given to the heads of concerned agencies. .

Later yesterday RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Social-Democratic Henchakian Party Central Board Chairman Sedrak Achemyan. The meeting agenda related to economic development and business environment improvement in Armenia, Homeland-Diaspora economic interaction and GoA-SDHP cooperation. During the meeting, questions of nationwide importance were discussed, including Armenian Genocide recognition and the settlement of the issue of Artsakh.

The Governing Council of Millenium Challenge Account-Armenia SNCO met at the Office of Government, presided at by GC Chairman, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. By RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan’s decision, Ashot Muradyan was appointed Deputy Governor of Ararat marz of the Republic of Armenia. In accordance with another decision, signed by the Prime Minister, Vahe Vardapetyan was appointed Deputy Governor of Tavush marz of the Republic of Armenia.

RA National Competitiveness Fund (NCF) Board of Trustees met on August 1 and 2, presided at by Board chairman, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.
