RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended the presentation of Datalex public information booth system.
Addressing those present, Tigran Sargsyan said the event was a serious contribution to judiciary reform in Armenia.
The introduction of Datalex is meant to keep a watchful eye on the judiciary via public coverage of any case tried in court, including their current status, background history, timing, court rulings, full texts of judicial acts etc. The system allows access to ARLIS database of applicable legislation, governmental websites and State duty payment terminals.
30 newsstands and TV monitors are installed in a number of court and government agency buildings. The system has been designed under the judiciary reform program, with financial and technical assistance available from the Dutch government, the World Bank and the Government of Armenia.
