Born in 1915, in Vardashen village of Armavir marz.
He was chemist by profession. He graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnics. He worked as first secretary in Yerevan city committee ACP (Armenian Communist Party). Worked for a long time (1976-81) in “Nairit” factory in Kirov

His tenure was during Brejnev’s “standstill” and everything that was happening in Center transferred in a chain reaction to subordinate republics.

At that time the city building was in rapid progress: people from rural areas wanting to leave to town were building industrial centers.
