Vakhtang Mirumyan: “Changes seek to improve business environment in the country”

The Cabinet approved today the bill on exempting border community activities from fiscal liabilities, as well as a set of amendments to eight other laws and legal acts.

As Deputy Finance Minister Vakhtang Mirumyan told the Government Press Center-hosted news conference, the changes are meant to improve the country’s business environment.

According to the speaker, the Government’s initiative seeks to boost economic activity in border communities. All business entities involved in such communities will be exempt from tax liabilities.

Other amendments are proposed to apply unified fines by tax authorities, introduce a system of online write-off of fiscal accounts and other documents, etc.
