PRC Vice-Premier-led Delegation to Arrive in Armenia

On 5 June, 2016, a Chinese delegation headed by PRC State Council Vice-Premier, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee Zhang Gaoli will pay an official visit to Armenia. During his visit, Zhang Gaoli will hold meetings with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan. Documents are due to be signed on bilateral cooperation in a number of areas.

PM Chairs Consultative Meeting

Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, a consultation was held today in the Office of Government to discuss the draft Tax Code of the Republic of Armenia. The meeting was attended by private sector representatives, including chief executives from small and medium-size enterprises. Prime Minister Visits Ararat Gold Recovery Plant

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan visited the GeoProMining Gold company-run Ararat gold recovery plant. The plant is the main Armenia-based asset of the Russian GeoProMining Group, which is operating a gold mine in Sotk, the Ararat gold recovery plant and the copper-molybdenum plant of Agarak. PM Attends Inauguration of Memorial to April War Heroes

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan attended the inauguration of a monument to those heroes killed in the Four-Day War of early April. Authored by sculptor Vardan Harutyunyan, the monument was installed in Tatul Krpeyan Park of Yerevan on the initiative of the Student Council of the State Economics University and the Youth Foundation of Armenia.
