Today RA government commission on coordination of charitable programs has met, presided at by commission chairman S. Ter-Simonyan.
The commission examined 3 charitable programs. In particular, it has approved the "Radiological Assessment of Kur-Arax Rivers" program, implemented by the Ecological-Noospheric Research Center of RA National Academy of Sciences, aiming the development of regional R&D projects. The "Creation of Youth Development Center in Gyumri" program as implemented by the Armenian Association of Holy Virgin pursues the goal of providing free professional education to young people at the age of 16-20. The meeting has also approved a gift distribution project carried out by International Christian Cultural Services charity, referred to as "Shoes Box."
The commission has also examined a series of follow-up projects under the previously approved ones, as well as programs of import of charitable freight addressed to various organizations operational in Armenia.
