Mher Grigoryan Receives UK Chargé d’Affaires


Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan today received UK Chargé d’Affaires to Armenia, Ambassador David Moran.

Greeting Mr. Moran, the Deputy Premier highlighted the furtherance of cooperation between Armenia and the United Kingdom. Mher Grigoryan considered the meeting a good opportunity to discuss issues of mutual interest.

Thankful for the reception, Ambassador Moran said he would do his utmost to develop cooperation between the two countries, especially as regards trade and economic exchanges. At the request of David Moran, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the advantages of investing in Armenia. He specifically evoked the possibility of entering the EAEU market via Armenia. Stressing that the introduction of British business culture is of great importance to Armenia, Mher Grigoryan noted that by implementing human capital development-targeted programs, the United Kingdom would make an invaluable contribution to the development of our country.

The parties expressed readiness for constructive cooperation and development of relations between the two countries.
