Tigran Avinyan Receives Moldova Ambassador

On September 6, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan received Ambassador of Moldova to Armenia Ruslan Bolbochan (residence in Kiev, Ukraine).

The Ambassador emphasized that our two peoples boast deeply-rooted relations, and Moldova wants to develop the friendly ties with Armenia. In this context, the role of continued dialogue between state figures and the importance of reciprocated official visits was highlighted.

Tigran Avinyan stressed the need to work more actively in order to form a broad cooperation agenda, especially as regards trade exchanges. The parties attached importance to the first sitting of the Armenian-Moldovan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation and the organization of business forums.

Issues related to legal framework strengthening, humanitarian, cultural cooperation and air communication were discussed during the meeting.
