PM Visits National Gallery and History Museum of Armenia






Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan visited today the National Gallery of Armenia. During the tour the Prime Minister got acquainted with the “Armenian kings and queens in the European engravings and Armenian posters of XVII-XIX centuries” exposition, which features rare and still unknown specimens of art.

The exhibition includes materials from the collections of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Director Hayk Demoyan, the Armenian Museum of Boston, the Ararat-Eskijian Museum and the History Museum of Armenia.

The Premier also toured the Museum of History getting acquainted with the collections and exhibits on display. Karen Karapetyan and the leadership of the Armenian National Gallery and the Armenian History Museum discussed issues related to the digitization of the exhibits available in these cultural institutions, as well as to the enhancement of Armenia’s tourism attractiveness and development programs.
