Armenian, Russian Prime Ministers Hold Phone Conversation

Later today, RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and RF Premier Dmitry Medvedev held a telephone conversation.

The parties exchanged views on the situation in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone, emphasizing that the conflict should be resolved through peaceful means within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group. During the conversation, Dmitry Medvedev reaffirmed that he was going to visit Armenia on April 7-8, 2016, as agreed beforehand.

The sides will discuss the whole complex of issues of bilateral relations - economy, energy, industry, transport infrastructure and other areas.

Hovik Abrahamyan and Dmitry Medvedev referred to the proposal of Kazakhstan, which is chairing the Eurasian Economic Union, to hold the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council’s impending meeting next week in Moscow.
