PM Hovik Abrahamyan extends condolences over the passing of Gegham Grigoryan
Today passed away one of the prominent figures of the Armenian culture, People’s Artist of the Republic of Armenia, opera singer, tenor, Artistic Director of the National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater after A. Spendiaryan Gegham Grigoryan.
He was an outstanding artist who performed on several stages all over the world. By virtue of his unique voice and talent, he won the sympathy of the international audience, introducing thereby our country’s achievements in the field of opera singing.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and on my own behalf, I express condolences to Gegham Grigoryan’s family, close relatives and friends, as well as to our people over the loss of one of our best artists.
