State Property Management Department Submits 2015 Performance Report

Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the Cabinet discussed today the annual performance report of the State Property Management Department (SPMD), which covered the Department’s key activities, its compliance with the Government’s action plan, priority tasks and estimated performance in 2015.

Head of State Property Management Department Arman Sahakian reported that his department in the reporting year complied with the scheduled program of the Government’s activity for 2015. In particular, they developed and submitted to the Government and legal acts aimed at improving the efficiency of state property management policies, including in the sphere of privatization, regulation of activity of the commercial organizations with state participation and their elimination.

Arman Sahakyan presented summary information about the account, the alienation of state property and funds received from its lease in 2015. According to him, received in 2015, and equipment amounted to 2875349.2 thousand AMD, of which the state budget of Armenia is listed 2787025.1 thousand drams, in the municipal budgets -.. 29141.8 thousand drams, and the budgets of SNCO -. 47440.5 thousand AMD, management of extrabudgetary funds - 11000.5 thous. drams. Obtained in 2015 in comparison with 2014 year, cash increased by 720513.8 thousand drams, which is an increase of 33.4%.

The Prime Minister appreciated the activities of the State Property Management Department in 2015, noting that all the planned activities had been complied with in the period under review. At the same time, the Premier noted the importance of steps aimed at further increasing the efficiency of state property management, pointing to the need for proper organization of the inventory, as well as other processes.
