Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan chaired a consultative meeting on the development of agricultural cooperatives. The meeting discussed establishment and strengthening of agricultural cooperatives and promotion of state support mechanisms. A number of recommendations were voiced as the speakers focused on the enforcement the law on agricultural cooperatives and implementation of relevant programs

Summing up the discussion, the Prime Minister said the Government ready to support the establishment of agricultural cooperatives. Hailing the stakeholders’ efforts, the Premier suggested submitting a concept note on practical steps and specific projects based on the proposals made during the meeting.
