PM Abrahamyan Holds Farewell Meeting with ADB Armenia Mission Head



Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Asian Development Bank Armenia Mission Head David Dole, who is completing his term in Armenia.

Appreciating David Dole’s activities in Armenia, the Prime Minister noted that the Armenian Government and the ADB had implemented and are now implementing a number of lifeline projects, including the construction of the North-South Road Corridor, the rehabilitation of the M6 interstate highway (Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Georgian border) and the implementation of the school seismic safety project in Armenia.

Hovik Abrahamyan thanked Mr Dole for efficient collaboration with the Government of Armenia. In turn, David Dole thanked the Premier for cooperation and stressed that serious achievements had been stated in bilateral cooperation during his tenure as Head of ADB Armenia Mission.

He said that the North-South Road Corridor is among the best examples of cooperation between the ADB and the Government of Armenia, which is going to resume with renewed vigor. David Dole expressed confidence that the strong ties of cooperation will be continued ahead.

At the end of the meeting, Hovik Abrahamyan presented Mr Dole with a nominal watch signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and wished him every success in future activities.
