PM Receives UAE Ambassador
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Armenia Jassim Mohamed Al Qasemi.
Pleased with the dynamics of relations between Armenia and the UAE, the Premier praised the efforts made by the Ambassador in this direction. Stressing the availability of vast opportunities for the development of bilateral cooperation, the head of the Armenian government deemed it promising to implement joint programs in agriculture, healthcare, education, research and other spheres.
Conveying warm greetings on behalf of the UAE Prime Minister, the Ambassador thanked Hovik Abrahamyan for valuable contribution to the strengthening of relations between the two countries.
Noting that a number of successful investment programs were implemented in 2015 in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the UAE Ambassador expressed confidence that effective bilateral cooperation might help expand economic relations between the governments of Armenia and United Arab Emirates.
The parties next discussed issues relating to the activation of UAE-Armenia economic exchanges.
