PM Receives Zohal Company Representatives
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received Zohal company founder Jabbar Gargash (United Arab Emirates), co-owner of the company A. Manzhosov (Austria) and Helios Power company owner I. Gergov (Bulgaria).
The meeting focused on the prospects of cooperation in the energy sector. Zohal founder Abdul Jabbar Gargash said his company was interested in investing in Armenia’s energy sector and implementing long-term projects in different areas (solar, wind energy, etc.).
Welcoming Zohal’s willingness to make investments in Armenia, the Prime Minister assured that the Government will possibly assist them with the implementation of mutually beneficial programs.
Hovik Abrahamyan noted that the Government is currently discussing Armenia’s long-term energy sector development strategy, and in this context, our country is keen to continue the reform encompassing new directions of development.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to cooperate with the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources as for the development of new projects.
