PM Attends Inauguration of Karekin I Educational Center
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan attended today a Requiem Prayer for Catholicos Karekin I offered by His Holiness Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II at the tomb of Catholicos Garegin I of blessed memory on the grounds of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin.
The Premier next attended the inauguration of Karekin I educational center, which was built through the benefaction of Mr. and Mrs. Haig and Elza Didizian.
The Center is meant to provide training for church officers, Christian educators and Diaspora teachers. The Center will also host conferences on Armenian studies and theology.
