The Government of the Republic of Armenia

Accompanied by Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan visited today famous Armenian novelist Perch Proshyan’s home-museum in Ashtarak.

The Premier toured the museum getting acquainted with the exhibits, which represented the writer’s life and work. The Head of Government took the opportunity to meet with a group of Armenian intellectuals - writers, musicians, artists, as well as theater and cinema figures. The scholars in attendance talked about their projects and problems.

Hovik Abrahamyan answered a number of questions, which related to both culture and his government’s priorities. Stressing the importance of meetings like that, the Prime Minister noted that they would be of a continuous nature.
