Government Discusses Armenian-Russian Cooperation in Aviation Sector
Armenian, Russian Cabinet members met today in the Office of Government to discuss development and expansion of bilateral cooperation in the field of aviation.
The Armenian side was represented by Vice Prime Minister, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reform Vache Gabrielyan, Minister of Economy Karen Cheshmarityan. The Russian side consisted of Russia co-chair of the Armenian–Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov and other officials.
The meeting agenda featured issues concerning the modernization of air traffic, the organization of flights to new destinations and the possibility of greater involvement of Russian air carriers in the Armenian market.
