PM Welcomes Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of National People’s Congress of PRC People’s Representatives
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received a delegation led by Chen Changzhi, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the PRC People’s Representatives.
Welcoming the guests, the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of bilateral relations. The Premier said China is a key partner for Armenia, and that reciprocated top-level visits promote development of interstate relations and bilateral cooperation.
Thankful for the reception, Chen Changzhi conveyed warm greetings on behalf of the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. He noted that China attaches great importance to the deepening and expansion of multifaceted cooperation with our country.
Pleased with the progress in the implementation of joint projects, the parties exchanged views on Armenian-Chinese economic, humanitarian, technical cooperation, as well as on the furtherance of inter-parliamentary ties. Mindful of boosting economic ties, the interlocutors stressed the role of the Armenian-Chinese intergovernmental commission.
Thanking the Chinese Government for providing free annual aid to the Government of Armenia, Prime Minister Abrahamyan conveyed warm greetings to the Chairman of the PRC State Council (Prime Minister) Li Keqiang.
