Rural Capacity Building Program Governing Board Holds Meeting
Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the governing board of the Rural Capacity Building program (the Program) met today on the Office of Government.
According to the agenda, the Board approved the list of communities eligible for funding under the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)-supported irrigation and water supply projects in the framework of the Rural Infrastructure component in 2015-2016.
The meeting next discussed and approved the 2015 program of activities, the budget funding bid, the estimate of maintenance costs and the procurement plan of the Government Staff-affiliated Rural Areas Economic Development PIU public institution.
In conclusion, the Board discussed and approved a proposal on amending the by-laws of the Board of Directors of “Rural Capacity Building” and “Marketing Opportunities for Farmers” programs.
