PIU Activity Reports Discussed






Chaired by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the Government discussed PIU activity reports for the first quarter of 2015.

The PIU heads reported back their agencies’ annual performance, introduced the planned activities and the existing problems.

Highlighting the importance of efficiency in PIU activities, the Prime Minister asked those responsible to make everything possible to achieve higher quality in the implementation of the planned programs.

Noting that he will keep focus on PIU activities, Hovik Abrahamyan said all those responsible for neglect of duties and shortfalls would be brought to responsibility.

The Prime Minister said that the government is ready to render all the necessary assistance to PIUs in dealing with the tasks set before them. At the same time, the Premier asked the PIU representatives to refrain from any kind of corruption and stressed that he was going to be consistent in the matter.

The Head of Government stressed the importance of ensuring transparency and efficiency in all processes.
