Marz Socioeconomic Development Issues Discussed in Government
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan chaired a consultative meeting, attended by Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan, First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Vache Terteryan and Marz governors.
The meeting discussed prospects and possibilities for ensuring socioeconomic development in the regions. The governors reported progress in the implementation of various projects and the problems faced in the provinces, after which the meeting dwelt on the steps and measures aimed at addressing the stated problems. In this context, reference was made to the ongoing community consolidation-targeted pilot projects.
Summing up the consultation and stressing the need to enhance efficiency in the work of regional administrations, the Prime Minister told the governors to submit a summary report on the problems discussed to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.
