Armenia National Library Problems - Center of Prime Minister’s Attention
Accompanied by Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, Minister of Urban Development Samvel Tadevosyan and Chairman of State Committee for Architecture by the Government Narek Sargsyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited the National Library of Armenia and toured the building.
In pursuit of presidential orders, the head of government got familiar with the problems of the library. As the Prime Minister was briefed on the building’s status, he was told that additional studies should be carried out to learn of its overall condition.
The Prime Minister instructed to conduct the necessary surveys as shortly as possible and submit the findings. The Prime Minister also instructed to build slanted platforms at all the entrances in order to adapt the building to the needs of disabled people.
