Meeting With Newly Appointed Argentinian Ambassador
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Argentine to the Republic of Armenia Ernesto Alvarez Diego Rivera.
Congratulating the Ambassador on appointment, the Prime Minister wished him every success in his important mission.
The parties noted the importance of further strengthening and developing the comprehensive ties of friendship between Armenia and Argentina. The Prime Minister stressed the need to expand economic cooperation despite the geographical distance between the two countries.
In this context, they made a point of revitalizing the Buenos Aires-based Argentina-Armenia chamber of commerce and boosting the business contacts. The need to buld on the cultural exchanges and sporting ties was emphasized on either side.
Pleased with the current status of political relations between the two countries, the interlocutors hailed the contribution of the Armenian community of Argentina.
