2013-2015 Medium-Term Public Spending Program Macroeconomic Performance Discussed
Chaired by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the standing council on the development of medium-term public spending program met today at the Office of Government..
The meeting discussed the forecast of key macroeconomic indicators to serve as a basis for the 2013-2015 Medium-Term Public Spending Program’s macroeconomic performance.
It was noted that in accordance with the timetable stipulated in the Prime Minister’s decree of December 21, 2011, No.1240-N, all the ministries and government agencies have already submitted draft medium-term expenditure programs for 2013-2015.
Summing up the discussion, the Prime Minister gave two days to the interagency task force to discuss the methodology of macroeconomic forecasting and report back the findings to the Prime Minister.
