Tigran Sargsyan Was Present at the Final Game of the Football Tournament Dedicated to Andranik Margaryan’s 60th Anniversary
Today Prime Minister, member of the executive body of RA Republican Party Tigran Sargsyan was present at the final game of the football tournament organized by the Youth Organization of RA Republican Party, which took place in the FC “Pyunik” stadium.
The tournament is held between the regional organizations of the Youth Organization of RA Republican Party and is dedicated to Andranik Margaryan’s 60th anniversary.
FC “Hrazdan” and FC “Metsamor”, of Kotayk and Armavir regions respectively, competed for the first place of the tournament’s regional phase and FC “Hrazdan” won over “Metsamor” with the score of 2-1. The Prime Minister himself passed the cup to the players of the victorious team. The Head of the Government congratulated the team and wished them new victories.
The winner of the regional phase will compete in the final of the tournament with FC “Malatia-Sebastia”, the winner of the “Yerevan Cup” tournament.
The tournament is aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle among the youth, as well as to foster the development and popularization of football.
