North - South Road Corridor Investment Program Governing Council Meets in Regular Sitting





North - South Road Corridor Investment Program governing council met at Government, chaired by council head, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

First, the council discussed and endorsed the results of the tender announced for program consultant selection purposes.

The council approved the proposal on signing another contract with “Egis BCOM” organization in connection with the amendments to the 19 km-long Yerevan-Artashat road section project which is part of the Yerevan-Ararat highway, as well as questions relating to the selection of a consultant for finalization of the Yerevan-Artashat road section project. The council next decided to invite bids for the following vacancies available at North-South Road Corridor Investment Program PIU SNCO: resettlement expert at the department of social protection, resettlement and ecology and specialist of outreach and public relations department.

The council backed a series of amendments to the contract on implementation of advisory services for the stock-taking and evaluation of plots of land subject to alienation under the second tranche, as well as the a proposal on accepting a contract amendment ordinance by program consultant Egis BCOM.

In conclusion, the meeting decided to appoint the representative of the Ministry of Transport and Communication to be governing council secretary.
