Prime Minister meets with YSU students





Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan called at the Yerevan State University for a scheduled meeting with YSU students. Discussed were several issues of topical interest, including corruption.
The Prime Minister suggested holding further discussions to that effect: “This meeting is important in a sense you can see and understand my vision of those problems of concern to you,” Tigran Sargsyan said.

Speaking about the need for shaping a modern society, the head of government appreciated the students’ ability of getting full knowledge of the world. “What matters most is to understand the rules and laws according to which the world develops and what kind of society we need in order to be competitive,” he said. The Prime Minister further noted: “The state of mind prevailing in this classroom is crucial to the future of Armenia.”
Concerning corruption, Tigran Sargsyan pointed out that it cannot be coped with unless people come to a common understating that corruption is an evil. “It is extremely important for the students to take a share in the anticorruption campaign.”

YSU student’s council chairman Tsolak Hakobyan submitted a package of proposals against corruption.
In conclusion, Tigran Sargsyan answered the questions of the attendees which bore on a broad range of issues of interest to Armenian studentship.
