A government session chaired by the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan was held today.
The executive, adapting and supplementing his prior decisions, defined the list of the diseases in the presence of which it is prohibited to drive, as well as the order of medical assistance to the victims of the traffic accidents. Taking into consideration the need of mitigating the consequences of the financial crisis in the field of irrigation and in order to support agricultural economies, the government let “Debed-Aghstev” and “Akhuryan-Araks” companies provide irrigation water supplies for washing the salted lands free of charge till May 1st, 2011. The water supplying companies were suggested to provide the land areas up to 10 hectares with irrigation water free of charge in the above mentioned cases.
Summing up the issue, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan instructed the president of the Water Recourses Committee to cooperate with the Minister of Agriculture of RA and clarify the schedule of the given projects, as well as the numbers of peasant households that will be using these privileges and be provided with irrigation water free of charge.
