Interuniversity consortium-related programs discussed in government
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan called a consultative meeting to discuss coordination of the activities of the interuniversity consortium.
In attendance was the rector of the State pedagogical university after Kh. Abovyan, as well as the rectors of marz- and NKR-based pedagogical universities.
The meeting discussed as follows: cooperation with European universities, prospects of modernization, harmonization with the standards set by “Pedagogical and Psychological Problems” international scientific periodical, application of unified academic programs within consortium-member universities.
Rector of the State pedagogical university after Kh. Abovyan Ruben Mirzakhanyan advised that a World Bank-supported arrangement has been signed with the University of Ulu (Finland) on the use of academic curricula up till November, 2012.
In conclusion, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan was awarded the medal of Khachatur Abovyan for significant contribution to the sphere of education.
