Tigran Sargsyan welcomes Ukrainian Foreign Minister

Welcoming the guest, the Prime Minister prioritized the role of high-level official visits in the strengthening of bilateral relations and went on to emphasize that the Ukrainian Foreign Minister’s visit will help promote political dialogue, trade relations and humanitarian ties. “Everything should be done to strengthen and expand the traditional bonds of friendship and brotherhood between our peoples. We consider it a primary direction of Armenia’s foreign policy. We would like to take this opportunity to reach specific agreements on cooperation areas and modalities so that we have a clear-cut program of activities to implement.”

The parties said to be pleased with the current pace of interaction. Mindful of making a better use of existing potentialities in the field of trade relations, the activity of the Armenian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation and the holding of a business forum in particular was emphasized on either side.
