The prime minister attends the opening of Coca-Cola’s new water cleaning station





Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited today Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia.

The Prime Minister took part in the opening of the new water cleaning station at which water used during the manufacturing process is cleared from impurities according to the best standards so that the recycled water is environmentally clean and fit for use by plants, animals and humans.

The head of government walked round the new-built facility getting acquainted with the existing capacities. Tigran Sargsyan was introduced to the manufacturing process and the 15-year-long record of company activities in Armenia.

As he wrapped up the visit, the Prime Minister answered the questions of journalists noting that
Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia has created numerous jobs and is among Armenia’s largest taxpayers “The purpose of our visit is to get acquainted with the know-how of Coca-Cola in the field water cleaning as we seek to disseminate the expertise and the international environmental standards applied by the company so that such standards are introduced and applied in other enterprises of the Republic of Armenia.”
