The Scientific-Technical Council Meets in Government

The Scientific-Technical Council held its second sitting in the Office of Government, chaired by council head, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

The meeting took note of the report on developing block-module-based chemical industry in Armenia. An arrangement was issued to work out and submit a business program on the development of block-module-based chemical industry.

Prioritizing the steps toward developing chemical industry in Armenia, the Prime Minister instructed to set up a task force composed of representatives of concerned agencies to design and table within 3 months’ time a small and medium-size business development program.

The agenda comprised organizational issues. In particular, editor-in-chief of “Golos Armenii” newspaper Flora Nakhshkaryan was elected secretary of the council.

Finally, the council heard the members’ proposals concerning the agenda of the next sitting. The head of government told them to submit to the secretary of the council all those queries and recommendations raised at the meeting.
