Member of RPA executive board Tigran Sargsyan congratulates newly elected parties

Member of the executive board of the Republican Party, Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with young people who claim for membership of the Republican Party yesterday. The event was attended by around 150 young people, mostly scientists, graduates and masters. The Prime Minister welcomed the participants and delivered a lecture on “The challenges of the politicians in the 21st century”. Tigran Sargsyan singled out three main provisions that modern politicians should take into account, and particularly noted, “The first is that the fast-changing world reveals unexpected and unpredictable troubles and the politician has to be ready for that challenge. It assumes special skills for the politicians; deep knowledge, constant desire for learning and formation of their own ideology and value system. The second important problem is the way the modern politician makes decisions, as the decision-making methodology is of fundamental importance. The politician leads a team, which tries to implement his ideology, and the decisions have to be made the way that the team feels that they take part in the making. The third provision is that the countries of the modern world decline their activities voluntarily, realizing that those functions should be undertaken other specialized structures, but not by the politicians. It means that the field of the politicians and its functions change in the 21st century.”
The head of the government emphasized the importance of the youth’s active political participation, meaning it a way of a recovery of the bank’s staff of Armenia; he also talked about the actuality of the national-conservative ideology and the importance of the Republican Party in the modern political activities. Particularly, he referred to the key priorities and emerging challenges, emphasized the important role of the youth in the Armenian modern political system, in the process of formation and implementation of political ideas and in the establishment of the knowledge in the society.
At the end of the event the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan gave Republican Party tickets to 100 young people who claimed for a membership.
