Tigran Sargsyan attends an anniversary event
The ceremony of the 80th anniversary of the Yerevan State Economic University and the 90th anniversary of the establishment of economical education in Armenia took place today at the National Opera and Ballet Theater after Al. Spendiaryan. Among the participants were the president of the NA of republic of Armenia, the president of the YSEU council Hovik Abrahamyan, the Prime-Minister Tigran Sargsyan, deputies of NA and members of the government.
The rector of YSEU, corresponding member of NAS, Doctor of economics Yuri Suvaryan talked about the path of the high economical education in Armenia, future activities and programs.
The President of NA of republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan and the Prime-Minister Tigran Sargsyan congratulated the University for the Anniversary.
By the declaration of the president of Armenia Serj Sargsyan, a group of distinguished professors of the university have been titled as Honored Scientists and were awarded the Anania Shirakatsi medal.
For the 80th anniversary of the foundation of Yerevan state Economic University and the 90th anniversary of the establishment of economical education in Armenia, a group of the professors of the university have been awarded the Medal of Honor for their contribution in education and science.
Other professors of the university have been awarded the medals of the Prime-Minister of Armenia and diplomas by Tigran Sargsyan for their contribution in education and science.
