Today Republic of Armenia Prime Minister Andranik Margaryan has received the delegation led by co-chair of Armenia-European Union Parliamentary Cooperation Commission Ms. Marie-Anne Isler-Begen.


Welcoming this first visit to Armenia of such a representative EU delegation in the wake of the 2004 parliamentary elections in the European Union, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that it would promote the further development of bilateral cooperation. For her part, Ms. Marie Begen said that the current visit was an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the Armenian Parliament, to hold talks on several issues concerning activation of cooperation. In her opinion, it was backed by the European Union
