UN special envoy on the status of human rights defenders received by the Prime Minister
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today UN special envoy on the status of human rights defenders Margaret Sekaghia. In attendance was UNDP Resident Coordinator in Armenia Dafina Gercheva.
Greeting the guests, the Prime Minister said to be pleased with the current level of UN-Armenia cooperation.
The parties spoke about the overall status of human rights in Armenia. Prioritizing the use of international experience in our country, Tigran Sargsyan said to be looking forward to being assisted by the UN Armenia Office in this matter.
