The Prime Minister congratulated police on professional holiday

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended today a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the 9th anniversary of the RA Police by the Government.

Addressing those present, the Prime Minister read out RA President’s congratulations message on the Day of Police.

In his congratulatory remarks, Tigran Sargsyan stated in part: “I wish to assure you that the welfare bottlenecks faced by police staff will be kept in the center of attention of the Government. I am convinced that we can build on the positive trends available in the work of RA Police. You may rest assured that the government will spare no efforts to provide you with better working conditions. Dear colleagues, on behalf of my government and myself, I extend heartfelt congratulations on your professional holiday.”

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan handed in top police ranks and high State orders conferred upon a number of police staff under RA presidential decrees.

For great contribution to the maintenance of law and public order and struggle against crime, Premier’s commemorative medals and appreciation letters were awarded to several system staff.
