Visit Paid to Lori Marz


Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan traveled to Akhtala town and called at Barit residential district to participate in the opening of a gas pipeline featuring a traditional torch-lighting ceremony. The gas supply terminal was installed with the assistance of RA Government and Hayrusgasard CJSC.

Following the opening ceremony, Tigran Sargsyan attended a gala event at which high school No. 1 of Akhtala town was named after late statesman and renowned political figure Andranik Margaryan. Strong with its 130 schoolchildren, this educational institution was repaired at the initiative of late prime minister Andranik Margaryan. The guests walked round the school building to familiarize themselves with the premises and the possibilities offered by the new-built computer lab.

During a ceremonious event held in the school, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan was presented with the first sample of the Akhtala town’s Golden Pomegranate order.

Tigran Sargsyan and the Margaryan family members inaugurated a memorial plaque dedicated to the late prime minister of blessed memory. The event was concluded with the presentation of a film on Andranik Margaryan’s life and activity.
