RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received a delegation led by governor of the Kharkiv region of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.
Greeting the guests, the head of the Armenian government expressed conviction that the governor’s visit will help expand cooperation between Armenia and Ukraine.
Governor Arsen Avakov said that there are vast opportunities and prospects for developing mutually beneficial ties between Kharkiv region of Ukraine and Lori, Shirak, Tavush and Vayots Dzor marzes of Armenia in the spheres of agriculture, winemaking and tourism in particular.
The interlocutors also touched upon the fourth session of the Armenian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation due on October 16, as well as on possible cooperation in education, science and power engineering.
At the end of the meeting Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan assured the delegation that all necessary arrangements will be made to ensure that the agreements reached are converted into reality.
