A session of RA government’s charitable project coordination commission took place, chaired by commission head Simon Ter-Simonyan.
22 projects have been discussed and approved, including the following projects as carried out by:
Hayastan All-Armenian Fund:
- Author’s control of major overhaul of the gym hall and the right wing of high school of village Togh of Hadrut region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic,
- Paving the territory of the high school and the leading road in Khashtarak village of Tavush marz of the Republic of Armenia,
- Founding a computer class in the high school of Khashtarak village of Tavush marz of the Republic of Armenia,
- Constructions of a gym hall in high school of No.2 in Spitak town of Lori marz of the Republic of Armenia,
- Installation of floor for the gym hall of the cultural complex of “Tiramajr Hayastani Kusastan” public organization in Gyumri town of Shirak marz of the Republic of Armenia,
- Furnishing of schools in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic,
- Furnishing of the high school of Spitakashen village of Martuni region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic,
Holy See of St. Echmiadzin:
- Sewerage, heating and water supply systems repair in the Vazgenian seminary of Sevan,
- Installation of telephone lines within the Holy See of St Echmiadzin
- Overhaul of the monastic building’s heating system,
- Improvement of the former hospital building in the territory of the Holy See of St Echmiadzin,
- Installation of a monument to the right hand of Saint Gregory the Illuminator
- Reconstruction of sewerage, heating and water supply systems for the motor transport service, warehouses and the candle manufacture of the Holy See of St Echmiadzin,
- Improvement of training-educational conditions for the pupils of the Arabkir Hayordats Tun,
- Procurement of armature for construction of a church in Erebuni district community of Yerevan.
- A welfare project financed by the Child Assistance Center of the Armenian Relief Fund of America
- ARDA relief fund-implemented “Construction of a community center in “Taron-3” district of Vanadzor town and roofing, hall and premise repairs for the ARDA kindergarten in Gyumri town of the Republic of Armenia”
- The Assistance for Vulnerable project as carried out by the ARM public charity.
- Treatment and care for children with mental and physical disabilities in Spitak town to be implemented during 2009-2012 by the Armenia branch of the Missionary Charitable Organization
- Otevan Christian Association of Young People-supported program on repair and reorganization of the former industrial building in Kasakh village of Kotaik marz of the Republic of Armenia for the needs of asylum-seekers in the Republic of Armenia
- A series of water-main reconstruction projects to be implemented by the Armenia office of the Corporation of Latter-day Saints in 15 communities of the Republic of Armenia.
The meeting has also discussed and approved several sub-programs under the standing ones, as well as projects on import of charitable freight destined to various organizations operational in Armenia.
