RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended today the joint sitting of the YSU Board and the Scientific Council, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Yerevan State University.

In his speech, the Prime Minister expressed conviction that there is a will and adequate capacity to turn the University into one of best educational institutions of the world: “I cannot see any obstacle on the way to giving effect to such an ambitious project through joint efforts. This is the only path leading to Armenia’s well-being. We cannot dream of becoming a competitive nation in the modern world unless we have a top-quality university.”

The Prime Minister assured of his government’s readiness to assist the YSU leadership with the achievement of this target. Tigran Sargsyan handed in Premier’s commemorative medals and letters of appreciation to a number of persons high on the merit list of the University.
