RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended today the ninth universal commercial and industrial exhibition of regional coverage, referred to as ARMENIA EXPO 2009 and hosted by LOGOS EXPO Center Company and the Union of Industrialists and Businessmen of Armenia. The event will be on from this September 4 through to September 6 at the Sports - Concerts Complex after Karen Demirchyan.
Pointing to the importance of this already traditional exhibition, the head of the Armenian government said in particular: “To our mind, events like this may help combine endeavors against the existing difficulties. We think it extremely important that nearly 150 organizations from 9 countries are involved in this action, which means that as many people have brought in specific projects offering a broad spectrum of services, products and capacities. At the same time, they are desirous of finding new partners and expanding sales markets. We are supportive of actions like this, well aware that they can go a long way towards shaping a business-friendly environment in the Republic of Armenia.”
The Prime Minister walked round the pavilions with a view to getting a first-hand view of those companies represented at the exhibition.
The exposition hosts over 150 organizations, companies and unions from Armenia, Nagorno-Karabakh, Russia, Belarus, Iran, the UAE, Germany, Georgia and China.
