RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended a gala event dedicated to Construction Worker’s Day. The Prime Minister congratulated all construction workers and architectures of Armenia: “Engineers and builders are held in deep respect in the Republic, and it is not at all accidental that builders have always had a place of their own in Armenian history. Construction and engineering account for most of our national identity. Construction workers enjoy a significant background, and I am cinfident that they have a say to the world,” Tigran Sargsyan said in his address. He said to be convinced that today’s hardships will be overcome and we will be proud of their work again.

RA Minister of Urban Development Vardan Vardanyan noted in his speech that urban development has scored serious progress in recent years and, challenging any difficulty, will go on expanding in line with centuries-old traditions. The Minister highlighted the Government’s anti-crisis action by stressing the importance of those guarantees and tax privileges available for the sector.

The function was addressed by the presidents of Armenian unions of engineers and builders.

For significant contribution to urban development activities in Armenia, several builders and constructors were presented with Prime Minister’s letters of appreciation.
