RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received newly appointed Italian ambassador to Armenia Bruno Scapini.

Congratulating the Ambassador on the start-up of his diplomatic mission in our country, Tigran Sargsyan said to be confident that in his new capacity Mr. Scapini will bring about further progress in Armenian-Italian relations. The Prime Minister assured of Armenia’s appreciation of its centuries-old friendship with Italy, highlighting the development potential available in the economic and cultural spheres.

The parties have agreed in that diversified ties may be built up on the solid groundwork of bilateral relations.

Thanking the Prime Minister for a warm welcome, Bruno Scapini singled out the private sector as the best area for the use of existing trade and economic potentialities.

In conclusion, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan wished the Ambassador every success in his mission.
